Growing the business

Whether a client is starting a venture, expanding, renovating, or buying equipment, the firm can help with the financing application: current financial reports, a business plan, and projections.

That work is done with business partners that include BDC, chartered banks, and loan and mortgage specialists.

Corporate finance experience is most useful here. Accounting is not only a record of what already happened. It helps an owner see performance, manage cash, plan an investment, and decide with better information.

People around the file

Accounting and tax sit next to other professional work. The firm works with lawyers on contracts, wills, powers of attorney, and real estate transactions, and with financial advisors, planners, and insurance professionals on wealth and protection.

When something goes wrong

The firm does not step back when a file gets difficult. During the COVID-19 period, that meant helping clients apply for subsidies and loans so a business could keep going.

If the CRA audits or reviews a file, the firm represents the client and works with the CRA through the process, including appeals.

If a client can no longer move forward financially, the firm can work with a Licensed Insolvency Trustee on insolvency options.
